4. pass the buck: 推脫責任。

5. buck sb. up: 使某人振作精神

得了，振作起來。事情沒有你想的那么糟。

6. buck up在英式口語中有“加油，快點”的意思。如：

Buck up, or we’ll be late. 快點，否則我們就要遲到了。

另外buck一詞也可指英國19世紀初的紈绔子弟。
